Parenting in a Tech Heavy World-Bright Elementary Parenting Series
Wednesday, April 24-6:30-8pm
Today's parents are in uncharted waters in the area of technology and social media. As an adult, technology can be hard to navigate, but for a child it can quickly become overwhelming. Researchers believe more children today are suffering from chronic stress and sleep deprivation than ever before due to an unhealthy amount of screen time. Irritability, anxiety, depression, tantrums, poor self-regulation, disorganized behavior, poor sportsmanship, social immaturity, poor eye contact, insomnia, and learning difficulties are just some of the increased symptoms experts are seeing in children over the past 10-15 years.
Children need help from their parents and other trusted adults in establishing healthy boundaries in the area of technology. This seminar is a great opportunity for the parent, the school, and the Church to come together and do just that.
For more information on the next seminar date, call 1-812-576-ROCK or email Linda Hutchinson at email@example.com.
